Speaking God’s Word

“Again He said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, “O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ ”

So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ”

So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.”
Ezekiel 37:4–10 (NKJV)

Introduction

You will get better and faster results in life when you say what God has said. Re-echoing human proverbs or personal statements in the place of prayer often leads to frustration. God’s Word is a sure way to obtain results when we pray and speak in faith. “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)

Some Biblical Examples of Speaking God’s Word

I. Ezekiel and the Dry Bones

The prophet Ezekiel spoke exactly what God commanded him to say. As he prophesied, immediate and visible results followed. Dry bones came together, flesh appeared, and finally breath entered them — and they lived.

II. The Temptation of Jesus

Our Lord Jesus Christ, when tempted by the devil, continually responded with the words “It is written.” (see Luke 4:1–12).
By speaking the Scriptures, He overcame every temptation.

III. Book of Hebrews

“For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’
So we may boldly say:
‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?’”
Hebrews 13:5b–6 (NKJV)

Your mouth commands it, the Spirit of the Lord Performs it!

“Search from the book of the Lord, and read:
Not one of these shall fail;
Not one shall lack her mate.
For My mouth has commanded it,
And His Spirit has gathered them.”
Isaiah 34:16 (NKJV)

You must search for God’s Word that looks like the answer to your issue and boldly say it over and over until you get good success.  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; Revelation 12:11

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8
