God\u2019s blessing upon humanity has always included fruitfulness<\/strong>. \u2014 \u201cThen God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply(Gen. 1:28)<\/em> \u2014 From creation to Christ\u2019s command to His disciples, God reveals that fruitfulness is a blessing and anyone that does not bear good fruit He will cut off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” Matt 7:17<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nGod\u2019s Directive on Fruitfulness<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\n
- At Creation:<\/strong> \u201cBe fruitful and multiply\u201d (Gen. 1:28).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- In Christ:<\/strong> \u201cI chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain\u201d (John 15:16).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- For His Glory:<\/strong> \u201cBy this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples\u201d (John 15:8).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nScriptural Guidance on how to remain fruitful<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
1. Abide in Christ<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

- That sounds too simple. No wonder some religious people and countries that removed love from the equation are not fruitful. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Fruitfulness is impossible where love is absent. Religion without love is barren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
3. The Holy Spirit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

- \u201cBy this we know that we abide in Him\u2026 because He has given us of His Spirit\u201d (1 John 4:13).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- The Spirit is both the evidence<\/strong> and the power<\/strong> of fruitfulness (Eph. 1:14\u201315).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
4. Confession of Christ<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

- \u201cWhoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him\u201d (1 John 4:15).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Confession is not a one-time act but a lifestyle of declaring Christ.<\/strong>
\u201cDo not cast away your confidence, which has great reward\u201d (Heb. 10:35).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n5. The Word of God<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
