{"id":182,"date":"2025-12-29T23:28:02","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T23:28:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/j423community.com\/j423apps\/?p=182"},"modified":"2025-12-29T23:58:41","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T23:58:41","slug":"182","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/j423community.com\/j423apps\/uncategorized\/182\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Discover, Develop, and Deliver<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>The Three Critical Ds for 2026<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The next few studies will focus on <strong>Discovering, Developing, and Delivering<\/strong>\u2014what I call the three critical Ds for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Discover<\/strong> \u2013 Think, and think right<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Develop<\/strong> \u2013 Work out a plan, set goals, and pray<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deliver<\/strong> \u2013 Do what you have planned; work out your faith<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In today\u2019s study, I will use the popular parable of <strong>the Prodigal Son<\/strong> (Luke 15:11\u201332) to explain these concepts\u2014particularly from verse 17 onward, the second half of the story:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cBut when he came to himself, he said, \u2018How many of my father\u2019s hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, \u201cFather, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.\u201d\u2019 And he arose and came to his father\u2026\u201d<\/em> (Luke 15:17\u201320)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DISCOVER \u2013 \u201cWhen He Came to Himself\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the point where a person makes up their mind to live a better life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this stage, you <strong>have a meeting with yourself<\/strong>. You choose between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Where you are <strong>now<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where you are <strong>supposed to be<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Discovery means deciding to leave your past and present condition for the new things God has prepared for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a moment of self-reflection\u2014choosing whether you want to live as <strong>a nonentity<\/strong> or <strong>a person of worth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cBut when he came to himself\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That was his moment of <strong>discovery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DEVELOP \u2013 Writing the Action Plan<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After discovery comes <strong>development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have met with yourself, you must write out &#8211; or at least say out-your action points. <em>\u201cMeetings without action points are a waste of time.\u201d<\/em> -BT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prodigal son said: <em>\u201c<strong>I will<\/strong> arise and go to my father, and <strong>I will <\/strong>say to him\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The phrase <strong>\u201cI will\u201d<\/strong> is powerful.<br>It is a <strong>statement of vision<\/strong> and a <strong>statement of purpose<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask yourself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What will I do better in 2026?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pray more consistently?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study the Bible more deeply?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take my academics and personal life more seriously?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are <strong>development decisions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DELIVER \u2013 Making Your \u201cI Will\u201d Count<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is where <strong>champions are made<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delivering means <strong>acting on your decisions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bible says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cAll hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.\u201d<\/em> (Proverbs 14:23)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Examples from the Prodigal Son:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. He acted on his decision<\/strong><br>He said, <em>\u201cI will go to my father,\u201d<\/em> and <strong>he actually went<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cAnd he arose and came to his father.\u201d<\/em> (v. 20)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. He spoke exactly what he planned<\/strong><br>He said he would confess his sin\u2014and he did:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cFather, I have sinned against heaven and before you\u2026\u201d<\/em> (v. 21)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>He delivered <strong>every \u201cI will\u201d<\/strong> he declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Final Charge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You must also ensure that you <strong>deliver all your goals<\/strong>\u2014every one of your <strong>\u201cI will\u201d statements<\/strong>.<br>Without delivery, <strong>change will not happen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do something good today to have a better tomorrow.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/j423community.com\/j423apps\/wp-admin\/admin-ajax.php?action=frm_forms_preview&amp;form=prodigal-son&amp;theme=1\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/j423community.com\/j423apps\/wp-admin\/admin-ajax.php?action=frm_forms_preview&amp;form=prodigal-son&amp;theme=1\">Test Questions<\/a> >>><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PART TWO TEASER<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Discover, Develop &amp; Deliver \u2013 The Three Critical Ds for 2026<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In<strong> <\/strong>Part One, we learned that<strong> <\/strong>change begins with a decision\u2014when you <em>come to yourself<\/em>.<br>But here\u2019s the big question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why do many people discover and plan\u2026 but never deliver?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Part Two, we will go deeper into:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Why good intentions fail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The danger of shouting \u201cI will\u201d without action<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How faith is proven by movement, not motivation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Why delay is the enemy of destiny<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cFaith without works is dead.\u201d<\/em> (James 2:17)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Don\u2019t miss Part Two<\/strong> \u2014 because <strong>2026 will not respond to wishes, only to action<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Discover, Develop, and Deliver The Three Critical Ds for 2026 The next few studies will focus on Discovering, Developing, and Delivering\u2014what I call the three critical Ds for 2026.
