1<\/strong> Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,

4<\/strong> Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,

Lesson Summary<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The passage from 1 Peter clearly teaches us that desiring the Word of God<\/strong> is essential for spiritual growth. Just like babies crave milk to grow, Christians must long for the pure milk of the Word<\/em> to be nourished spiritually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That means you should make it a daily habit to read the Bible<\/strong>.

God\u2019s plan is not just for you to grow, but for you to be built up into a spiritual house<\/strong>, a holy priest<\/strong>, offering acceptable spiritual sacrifices<\/strong> like praise and worship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
